Caffeine almost killed me!

Ok that title might be a little exaggerated, but in all seriousness I had chest pain all weekend. Like super sharp shooting pains!
Being in the healthcare field, I know chest pain is not something to play around with!
I've had chest pain all my life starting around age 16!
I've been checked out several times, 12 leads, stress test, blood work and all!

This weekend I was frantic to stop at the nearest store to grab aspirin, as in real Bayer aspirin 365 mg worth! EE had a ballgame and the hubs was at work. Both sets of grandparents were going to be at the game so I even had a plan of what to do if I had to go to the emergency room! IT WAS BAD!!!

I told both grandma's so if I needed them it would be no surprise! Finally about 20 mins after the aspirin kicked in the shooting pains stopped!

I'm not suppose to have any caffeine, like none. That's hard to do! But I finally went thru the headache withdraws and got over it! McDees sold caffeine free diet cokes. PERFECT!

Then came the day they replaced that with coke zero! So I went back to drinking diet coke.  And like 2 a day!
Umm that's 3.38 per day in diet coke, and 101.00 bucks a month! YIKES!

That's totally crazy and insane, and I knew I was drinking way too many of them a day!

I had a diet coke from McDees sat but after drinking 1/3 of it, the chest pain started. It lasted thru Monday! I took ibuprofen and got over the headaches, and no more chest pain! That 1/3 of a diet coke was the last!
I've been caffeine free since sat afternoon!
The headaches are mostly gone. I did take another ibuprofen today and hoping I don't have to take anymore
Meds for that anymore!

I'm pretty sure I can find something better to spend a 100 bucks on, then diet coke!

There are a few places that have the fountain drinks that offer a 100 choices. I know Qdoba and Burger King have it, as well as Speedway so those are my options for now! Along with my tervis tumbler that I'm taking to work filled with my CF diet!

So crazy how much caffeine really affects  my heart and chest pain!

Glad to be totally off of caffeine for good!
