This post is LOOOOOONG overdue! My Uncle Allen died Feb 9th, he was my dad's big brother! They were buddies growing up, both loved the outdoors, both had great wives (welcome Mom and Aunt Linda), both had 2 wonderful children (patting myself on the back), both had great careers.
Only problem............one lived in the city, one lived in the country, my dad always worked two jobs and there was very little time to socialize!
My uncle had cancer along with my dad, one would go in the hospital and then the other, this became a pattern for a good three months!
My dad misses him so much, and is very sad! He has said alot that he is in Heaven with their baby sister Shelby, their mom and dad, grandparents and such, and that has given my dad a sense of peace!
It's still so hard not to pick up the phone to call him!
This is a picture of all 3 siblings, my Aunt Susan, my Uncle Allen, and my Dad! Believe it or not they all have the same parents (i think) j/k, if my youngest didn't look like my dad's father, I'd question it.
The above picture is of the cousins, now I wish we had taken the picture in the same order as our parents, but it didn't work that way! From L-R Cassie (Allen's daughter), Me, and Rachel (Susan's daughter)
We took these at our Family Reunion which is every 4th of July! Lots of fun and lots of great childhood memories of that day! It's not as fun now, but that's another post!
One thing Uncle Allen said that I will never forget is this, my dad was upset in hospital back around Christmas and the nurse walked in and said what's the matter, my uncle was visiting and he said "we're really close, and I have cancer too" I'm sure that's not quote/unquote..................but that "hit" me, and I literally about choked up!
I hope Allen knew just how much we loved him! When I go camping I will think of him, when I see the snow (he loved the snow) I will think of him!
Cassie, Linda and Shane you have my deepest sympathies as well as the grandkids! I love you guys and if I can do anything, please don't hesitate to call!
Sorry for the sad post, but I didn't want to document our life and leave out what Feb was for us! It was also good as we celebrated my little 4 year old Miracle Baby's life and Birthday-pics to come!
***WARNING NEXT POST MIGHT BE A PICTURE DUMP***

Where have I been?
Wow, has it really been a month? Where have I been? Let's see, I've been packing, taking lil boys to baseball practice, signing up lil boys for Soccer, getting our house ready to sell, and scheduling viewings of our dream home! To say i've been busy is a total understatement!
Lot's are going on, baseball is in full swing and we practice two nights a week, I love it! I won't lie I was a little nervous, my boy is playing in the bigger boy league a whole season early, per the umpires recommendation, so we went with it, and you can't tell he is 6 months to 1 year younger then the others on his team! Most are a year older then he is, I can't say how impressed I am with our lil guy! HE ROCKS Y'ALL!
Let me fill you in on something super cool/fun, my hubs and I are going to the Fireman Ball, this is all out formal, formal gown, up-do hair, spray tan, you name it! We haven't had a date night in a very, very long time! And when we do go on a date night, it's usually for one hour to eat and right back home! A big thank you to my mother who bought my gown, it's a long black one-shoulder dress! I will post pictures I promise!
The house, you ask? Well things are moving fast! like very fast! Broker apts, home inspections, termite inspections, appraisals, it's been something almost everyday, we are now awaiting our closing date on both homes! Looks like we can move the week of Spring Break and my hubs is off so it works perfect! Please say a prayer for my friend Amy, she is listing 2 homes this week to sell, 1 is stressful enough, but 2 makes her Super Woman, one of those homes is almost 2 hours away! I pray her home sells fast, so she can purchase her dream home! Also pray for my friend Jennifer, she just listed her home this week also! :)
Dentist apts were last week for the boys and today for me! EE had to have a baby tooth pulled as his adult tooth was coming in behind the baby tooth, he was so brave and did so well. I went today in fear I had a cavity, but the Dentist doesn't think so, he said we'd keep an eye out on it!
Update on my dad- he is hanging in there! He is one tough cookie for sure. he looks good, but has been complaining of stomach and side pain for a good 2 weeks, I really have a fear the cancer is spreading out of control, but we won't know anything until Friday, when he goes back to the Oncologist, please remember him in prayer also! He could use all the prayers he can get! My mom too! They are the best of friends and she is so sad/depressed over his cancer battle!
Speaking of my dad, when we get in the new house we plan to have a big birthday party for him, and we have Relay for Life Upon us too, so we will have those shirts ready to order for his birthday! Relay reminds me when last year my Uncle came to support his brother (my dad) and he had recently been diagnosed with cancer, my dad was so glad he came out and brought his family. That Uncle died Feb. 9th of this year, almost a month ago! Dad was diagnosed terminal and my uncle wasn't. We just never know when our time is! I loved my uncle, he and I had alot in common, pretty sure he is where I got my camping "gene" from!
I'm still praying for my Aunt Linda, Cassie, and Shane! It's so hard, no doubt about it!
Love on your loved ones, let them know daily how much you love them, you won't regret it!
Last thing, the Biggest Loser at work, is going well, out of 25 people I'm in the top 3, not bad! I want to win that money!
I believe that's it, sorry for the long post, I will do better!

Dad-Daughter Day
I'm so very, very, very thankful for a daddy/daughter day today, it was short and sweet and we had hoped to visit my uncle who is very sick! My Uncle Allen is my dad's brother and they are both having a rough time with cancer.
Our day started rushed as usual, as we were pulling out of the drive to head to school EE said he remembered they were suppose to wear jeans and scarves today, I had to call school because he was so upset. That was mentioned yesterday during announcements but it was for staff. I don't typically put jeans on either of my kiddos unless we are going out, I never liked jeans and I just assume they don't and they just give me the "cold" feeling.
After dropping off the boys, we headed to Mcdees for our usual, but Bre wanted donuts so we stopped by there too. Gotta keep that boy happy, he is all about his food, yes breakfast of champions I know!
We headed to the Dr. after everyone had a full belly, dad actually ate all of his biscuit, I snuck in extra bacon on it, I was so glad to see him eat!
I love to chat with him, he was nervous about his appointment, not knowing what the Oncologist was going to say, and to say I was sweating this apt would be a total understatement.
We got as good of news as we could have, there is one more chemo drug to try before we just start treating his symptoms, that is never a good sign, but everyday dad is here with us and can get out is a precious blessing from above.
I seriously have the best DAD in the world, I know not everyone can say that, we were loved, we were spoiled, we were hugged everyday, multiple times a day. Dad put us first, there were more I LOVE YOU'S then Hallmark has ever heard. My dad is a family man, it was ALWAYS about us, always.
I encourage everyone to spend as much time making memories with your parents, we just never know what they will have to face. I have friends right now that either just lost their dad, or in the process of losing their dad, and my heart just wrenchs in pain for them.
If you don't know your dad or have never met your dad, (or mom) please do so, give them a chance to love you, accept you, and get to know you! If they give you the cold shoulder, then atleast you tried.
My dad is one in a million and I know I won the lottery when I was blessed with him. I wish I could upload pictures, I'm going to have my husband fix this tomorrow, I have several on my computer when I was young that was played in our Wedding Slide Show of me and my dad! His beaming face in every picture explains our family life, happy, fun memories made everyday!
Sorry to brag a lil, I'm super blessed and sometimes we don't realize it until we are older or grown, or have children of our own.
Speaking of children, my dad adores my children, he has taken them fishing and has gone camping with us, and hasn't missed a ballgame if he wasn't sick, he never told me "I will catch the next game" or "no not this time" he has watched them for us, even when his appendix was about to rupture, he watched lil bit while the oldest had surgery, didn't complain once. My boys feel his love, and they love him more then anything, and If they'd let my boys move in, I have no doubt that's where they'd choose to live, always treats, and hugs, and smiles and my dad always turns over the remote to Disney Channel.
On a side note, things are going well on the home front with buying/selling, we are excited to say the least, we are making offers and they are counter offering, and we have our first showing tomorrow for our place, it's all in God's hands. If he wants us to have that beautiful home he will make it happen, if it's not meant for us, he will let us know.
Glad to be a child of God, when we have nothing else we have him. And that's all that matters.
Blessings.

This is the house
So.............I've been neglected the blog! Sorry, we have been extremely busy here at the Womack house!
After 2 years of searching we finally found a house that we both really like, great neighborhood, in our price range, all the amentities we love! Ok well I can't upload the picture for some reason-STRANGE!
So that's what we have been up to, realtor showings, calling contractors to get things ready for our home to be put on the market, and lots of prayers.
The only thing left to do on our current home is paint, so we shall see how far we get with that, neither of us like to do it! ugh!
Poc was back in the hospital, apparently the cancer is causing fluid to build up in his lungs, and he had to have that drained. He is home for now, he sure has been through alot here lately. Lots of prayers for him too!
My mom has the flu, and it sure seems like everyone has the flu, prayers we don't catch it, and Poc doesn't either!
I've been jogging again, just going my own speed/distance, so far it's working, I was able to jog 5 straight mins without stopping the other day, that's huge for me. I know I will get there, then I plan to jog every 5K that is local that I can find!
Wish me luck!

Christmas Blessings
We had a wonderful Christmas at the Womack House! The boys were very happy with what Santa brought! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
The 1st picture is the boys in our bed trying to stay up and catch Santa! EE's tooth looks weird, not sure what is up with that! He lost his 2nd front big tooth, 2 days before Christmas!
The 1st picture is the boys in our bed trying to stay up and catch Santa! EE's tooth looks weird, not sure what is up with that! He lost his 2nd front big tooth, 2 days before Christmas!
In the 2nd picture the boys are putting out their Reindeer Food-So much fun!
We woke up to find that our Elf, Phillip was sitting on a present by the 2-way radios Santa brought, the wrapping paper in Phillip's hands are from the arrows he had on the floor pointing to the back yard, where Santa left a trampoline!
Nana, Poc, and Toby's stockings, milk and cookies for Santa on the Spiderman table!
Here is a picture with all the cousins, behind them is about 100 presents to open, you can't really tell but the presents come out from the wall about 6 feet or so! It's crazy, and it was even scaled down this year, and still lots of present for all these little lovies! :) Both my boys have on their fireman boots :)
I love the facial expressions on both hubs and EE, all EE wanted for Christmas was Fireman pictures, Fireman clothes and Etc. a true sign he is growing up and not asking for toys. So uncle Ashley just went to New York and Ground Zero, he took pictures, and had them framed along with a fireman patch. EE loved it, so did the Hubs, I'm thinking the Hubs would like one for his office!
I will leave you with this, we didn't get any snow on Christmas day, but a few days later we got 3.5 inches, so we took the boys to sleigh ride, we all had a blast, here is a picture, and I will do a post on it hopefully tomorrow!

More Prayers Please
Just wanted to give a quick update, Bre's surgery went well, we had to place a different tube then we thought. His ears are trying to produce a Cholestoma, which can mean major problems and major surgeries down the road. We are praying this new tube will prevent that from happening. Please join us in prayer that these tubes work.
Poc is back in the hospital, he got the all-clear from his post-op appendectomy last Friday and had Chemo on Wed., after his chemo infusion, he wears a chemo pump for the next 48 hours, so today he went to take that out, and they thought he was too sick to leave without running fluids in him. After the Dr. was called over to check him out, he decided to admit him for dehydration and to observe him, in the hopes he can go home before Christmas and not be as sick during the Holidays! We need to get Poc well, he has lost an additional 2 lbs. He is now at the point he doesn't have anymore weight to lose. His current weight loss is 16 pounds, he may have been 10 lbs over weight before his diagnosis. He has zero appetite and can't keep anything down.
The sweetest thing happened on the way home, both my boys were in Alison's wedding tonight, and might I add that they looked quite handsome. So I took them both up to see Poc, a big thanks to my MIL for watching and helping out in the waiting room as well as the wedding, I wouldn't have made it without her!
So back to the sweetness! :) Bre said on the way home, out of the clear blue, "Mom will you pray for Poc, then I will pray for him too" I about DIED, right there, my baby boy is only 3 years old, and for him to know to turn to God during sickness, sadness, and fear, just absolutely melts my heart!
I hope both of my boys remember to call on God their entire life! Both boys are super close to their Poc, they love him, he spends lots and lots of time with them, he is at every game, every function they are involved in! Poc has set a wonderful example for my boys! Oh and most definitely can't forget about all the breakfast' that they share together. My parents moved to the same town as us 3 months ago, and the boys have had breakfast with Poc no less then 10 times, I'm just amazed at the love between them!
We got to Celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Miller tonight and I couldn't be happier for them, Ali made a beautiful bride! J is pretty handsome too! I will post pics soon!
A huge thanks to "Poc's Donna" as my boys call her, she has been so very helpful in taking care of Poc, and being there for all of us during this time. We can't thank her enough!
Sorry this post is all over the place, alot is going on!
We are so thankful for this Season. Thankful for the birth of our Savior!

Christmas Cards~My favorite thing
Other then celebrating the real reason for the Season~The birth of Jesus, Christmas cards are my favorite thing, not the presents, not the food, not the shopping, it's the Christmas cards, they tie with turning off the lights all except the Christmas tree lights, and laying under the tree looking up at the lights, love, love, love!
This is what I came home to yesterday:
A big thanks to Nini for printing the labels for me! The kids had a blast, and Santa is sure to stop at our house because we have sparkly Reindeer Food.
This is what I came home to yesterday:
5 Christmas cards.........so much fun. My goal is to get a card everyday starting Dec. 1st, my first card every season is always from the Shearer family, they have beautiful kids and we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. Always love their cards!
We are going to start praying for the families that send us cards, I've heard of others doing this and I think it's wonderful, and what a great thing to teach your children!
Today we hosted a North Pole Party, lots and lots of fun! When we got home and checked the mail, Santa had sent the boys a letter in the mail from the North Pole, what awesome timing, huh? We read them after our company left so that no one felt left out. The boys loved their letters. Here is a sneak peak at them!
And here is a sneak peak at the reindeer food we made tonight:A big thanks to Nini for printing the labels for me! The kids had a blast, and Santa is sure to stop at our house because we have sparkly Reindeer Food.
